How to Keep Your Church From Dying

Having a good theology is important. However, to consider pursuit of deeper, broader, and granular theology as more important than pursuit of timeliness is wrong. To be filled with the Holy Spirit is paramount because, aside from being the source of wisdom, the Holy Spirit is the source of good timing.

In every church there are people with strong sense of urgency. Likewise, there are people with a strong sense of contentment. Both are necessary virtues of a healthy church. But when a church is dying, people with strong sense of urgency should be given more weight.
